Talons & Wisdom Bird Displays is a volunteer-led, non-profit bird-of-prey education project based in Plymouth.

To advance public education about birds of prey and inspire greater respect for wildlife and conservation by providing free, safe and accessible educational talks and bird displays.

A striking, powerful owl whose presence offers a memorable introduction to nocturnal birds of prey and their remarkable adaptations.

An intelligent and highly social raptor, ideal for helping audiences understand flight, hunting behaviour and the role of birds of prey in nature.

  • No public touching or handling of the birds
  • Experienced handlers managing every presentation
  • Written risk assessments for displays and visits

Bring birds of prey into your learning experience.

Our presentations are provided free of charge, with no booking fee, travelling expense or presentation cost. Contact us with your organisation, preferred date, venue and approximate audience size. A booking is confirmed once we reply and agree the arrangements.
